Under Eye Wrinkle Surgery

In our society, which is beauty-conscious and quite concerned with physical attributes, many people are looking for ways to alter their appearance, hoping to appear younger and more attractive.  As individuals age, both men and women frequently find that they are dissatisfied with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly in the under eye area.  Many people opt for surgery to correct this problem, but surgery can be quite expensive, and presents a variety of risks and potential side-effects and complications.  As a result, natural and herbal treatments for under eye wrinkles are increasing in popularity.

Surgery can be a costly and risky option; there are many potential complications when any surgery is performed, and cosmetic surgery is no different.  Scarring is one of the major concerns, but other complications like infections, failure to heal properly, and malpractice on the part of a physician are always possible.  The cost can often be prohibitive, as many people don’t have the thousands of dollars that cosmetic surgery costs, and insurance typically will not cover procedures which are not medically necessary, such as surgery for under eye wrinkles.

With all of the potential hazards of cosmetic surgery, it’s no wonder so many people are seeking out natural alternatives.  Fortunately, there are a variety of techniques from which to choose.  There are certain plants which have been known to enact a dramatic change in the overall health and tone of facial tissue.  Cucumber juice is one such natural remedy; there is a reason that advertisements for spas often depict a woman wearing a face mask and relaxing with cucumber slices on her eyes.  Some people prefer to soak cotton balls in cool cucumber juice and apply them to their eyes, while others prefer to use fresh cucumber slices, but either way can prove effective for treatment of under eye wrinkles.  Red grapes are another popular fruit which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Staying hydrated is one of the best ways to treat under eye wrinkles.  Dehydration can reduce the elasticity of your skin, and prevent your tissues from flushing toxins effectively, so drinking plenty of water every day is critical for the health of your skin, and the rest of your body.  Applying cold wet compresses to the eye area can also help to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and reduce inflammation or irritation around the eyes.

Some oils, many of which are probably already in your kitchen cabinets, are also extremely helpful for treating under eye wrinkles.  Vitamin E oil is one of the best, and it can be obtained in either a liquid or capsule form. Both forms can be taken internally, and if you have the capsules, you can break them open to spread the oil on your skin, significantly improving the tone and texture and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.  Other household oils – such as castor, olive, almond and coconut – are also quite useful.

There are a variety of natural and herbal treatments for under eye wrinkles as well, many of which are environmentally friendly and much better for your skin than harsh chemical products.  Products such as Natox can provide relief from dark circles and under eye wrinkles safely and effectively, and without all of the potential side effects or complications of surgery and chemical-based cosmetics.  There are so many different organic and natural remedies available for dark circles and under eye wrinkles that surgery should be a last resort, and in many cases, is not even necessary.  Make sure you explore all of your choices before opting for surgery, as it’s highly likely that you could find an option which is cheaper, less risky, and more effective.

Face Tape For Wrinkles

People have always been searching for ways to make themselves appear more youthful, and in today’s beauty-conscious culture, people from all walks of life are trying various remedies for wrinkles, crow’s feet, laugh lines and other signs of aging. This is especially important for models, celebrities and others whose careers depend in large part on how they look. Some people resort to plastic surgery, or inject substances such as Botox or collagen into their skin to create a more youthful appearance. However, while these methods can be effective, they are also extremely costly, and involve a great deal of risk. If the surgery or injection isn’t done properly, it can result in scarring, infections, more surgery, or other complications. Fortunately, there are other methods which can be just as effective as surgery, but are not nearly as expensive or dangerous.

Face tape, or facial tape, is one popular method for reducing wrinkles and improving the youthful appearance of one’s skin. Wrinkles are caused by the effects of gravity; as one ages, the long-term effect of gravity is that it forces everything downward. While we are young, our skin still has a great degree of elasticity, and can counteract the daily effects of gravity, springing back to its normal state overnight. However, our skin gradually loses that elasticity over the years, meaning that the visible effects of gravity become more and more pronounced. Using face tape for wrinkles allows an individual to counteract these effects by removing the gravitational strain on skin during sleep.

Face tape for wrinkles is normally applied during spa treatments. The first step is to cleanse skin with an exfoliating cream that removes dead skin cells and gives the skin a bright, youthful appearance. The person receiving the treatment would lie down, removing the downward gravitational pull on skin and causing it to return to its more youthful, wrinkle-free appearance. The tape is applied at this time, so as to ensure that it pulls gently and evenly on the facial skin. Any sagging skin is pulled backward and upward, like a non-surgical face lift, and smaller pieces of tape are applied to even out the more shallow wrinkles, such as small lines around the lips or on the forehead. This treatment is typically done multiple times during each session, and return visits will be required to maintain the youthful appearance created by the taping; however, it is said that using face tape for wrinkles does create a noticeable difference over time.

Another method for applying face tape for wrinkles is one which anyone can do at home. With a simple kit (a variety of which are available from many different outlets), one can pull facial skin back to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is a more temporary solution than the spa treatment option, but also significantly less expensive, and doesn’t involve going to the spa once or twice a week. This approach involves attaching an anchor to the neck, just under the hairline, and attaching facial tape to the anchor. The tape and the anchor are typically hidden by the hairline, and while it can be problematic to always be checking to make sure the pieces are hidden, it can be a great temporary solution for a single event, photoshoot, or other occasion.

Home Remedies for Face Wrinkles

While everyone is busy searching for ways to make themselves appear more youthful, and to reduce the signs of aging, not everyone has the money for expensive plastic surgery or cosmetic injections, or the time for extensive spa treatments. Many prefer to utilize methods that are more cost-effective and less fraught with risk. Fortunately, for those who would rather utilize methods which are more natural, there are a variety of home remedies for face wrinkles, many of which involve materials which may already be in your kitchen cupboards.

Egg whites are a powerful home remedy for face wrinkles. When you crack an egg, there is a pouch of liquid at the bottom which frequently remains intact after the contents of the egg have been poured out; pierce this pouch, and spread the material contained within it to the lines under your eyes, and around your mouth. Various oils are also great for fine lines and wrinkles; almond and coconut oils are well-known for their ability to restore skin’s health and elasticity, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Applying almond oil around the eyes and neck at bedtime can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles while you sleep.

Fruit is also one of the best home remedies for face wrinkles. For fine wrinkles, you can rub the core of a pineapple or a green apple on your face, and leave the juice there for about five or ten minutes. It is also beneficial to cut grapes in half, and crush the halves on your face at the wrinkle lines. Leave the juice on for approximately twenty minutes, and then rinse with warm water.

For those who are looking for a more effective remedy, and don’t mind playing around with a recipe a little, there are various recipes out there which can make great natural treatments for fine lines and wrinkles. One such recipe, which can be made with ingredients you may already have in your home, involves 3 capsules of vitamin E, 2 teaspoons of plain yogurt, ½ teaspoon honey, and ½ teaspoon lemon juice. All ingredients should be mixed together, and when well-blended, applied to the face with a cotton ball. After about ten minutes, rinse with warm water. If you are a bit more adventurous, or have access to herbal ingredients, you can also try making a solution from ¼ cup comfrey infusion, ¼ cup witch hazel, and 10 drops of patchouli essential oil. Not only does this solution help with wrinkles, but it also smells great. Again, this mixture can be applied with a cotton ball, and should be rinsed off after a few minutes. Rose and pomegranate have also been said to provide anti-wrinkle benefits.

In addition to the various substances you can put on your face, just as important are the ones you put in your face. Consuming certain types of foods can help to prevent, or even reverse, cell damage and wrinkles. Antioxidants, compounds which fight free radicals and help to prevent damage to cell membranes, are found naturally in a variety of foods, including nuts, legumes (especially soy), and colorful fruits and vegetables. Fatty acids, such as those found in fish, are also helpful for cells because they assist cells with retaining moisture, making them plump and firm and helping them to fill in the spaces where wrinkles lie. Eating a balanced diet is key, but taking a multivitamin can also help, as selenium and copper both help to keep skin healthy and retain its elasticity. Freshly-brewed green and white tea are also powerful delivery methods for antioxidants.

Best Treatment for Under Eye Wrinkles

People are always looking for ways to look younger and more beautiful, and as we age, fine lines and wrinkles frequently prevent people from looking their best, and feeling confident. There are a variety of treatments for fine lines and wrinkles, including surgery, Botox and collagen injections, but many people are starting to shy away from surgical remedies as they are unnatural, expensive and often present unnecessary risks. Fortunately, there are other treatments which are just as effective, but not nearly as dangerous, and much more cost-effective.

Many people are seeking natural treatments for under eye wrinkles, due to the risks inherent with other methods, and as a result, there are a variety of treatments available. Staying hydrated is perhaps one of the best ways to avoid under eye wrinkles, as dehydration can prevent your body from flushing toxins, and decrease the elasticity of your skin. Drinking plenty of water and applying cold wet compresses to the eye area are both methods which help to reduce the appearance of under eye wrinkles.

Cucumber juice is another well-known treatment for under eye wrinkles. A relaxed woman with a facial mask and cucumber slices over her eyes is an iconic image, conjured when most people imagine a relaxing day at the spa, and there’s a reason why this image is so popular. Cucumber juice is one of the best remedies for dark circles and wrinkles under the eye. Some people soak cotton balls in cucumber juice to take advantage of the fruit’s anti-
wrinkle properties, while others use fresh cucumber slices; either method is fine. Other fruits, such as grapes, can also be helpful.
There are also several oils which are great for improving skin tone and texture, many of which are readily available and may already be in your cupboard. Vitamin E oil is one of the best for improving skin health, and can be obtained almost anywhere; if you can’t find it in liquid form, you can purchase capsules in almost any store that sells vitamins, and eithe
r take the supplement orally or pop the capsules and spread the oil directly on your skin. Coconut, almond, olive and castor oils are also extremely helpful, and so are egg whites.
If none of the above natural methods for treating under eye wrinkles
work for you, you can also opt for a natural or herbal cosmetic product. There are a variety of treatments available, such as Natox, which provide effective and natural relief from under eye wrinkles and dark circles. With all of the natural remedies available, there is really no reason to turn to risky and expensive surgical or chemical treatments for under eye wrinkles; do what’s best for yourself, and the environment, and try some natural and herbal remedies first. You may be surprised with the results.

Why Skin Wrinkles in Water

Anyone who has spent enough time doing dishes, soaking in a hot tub, or swimming in a warm pool has seen the skin in their fingers and toes become white and wrinkly. This phenomenon is sometimes called pruning, or water aging.  When this happens, the skin tends to appear puffy, and lose much of the sensation that it normally has – particularly the fingertips, which are normally very sensitive.  When the skin is no longer immersed in water, it begins to return to normal, and soon, there are no signs of the wrinkly, puffy skin that was there earlier.  Though it is a common occurrence, and one to which we normally don’t give much thought, scientists are still at odds over the explanation for this phenomenon.
Human skin is comprised of three layers.  The deepest layer is called the subcutaneous tissue, which contains fats, connective tissue, nerves and large blood vessels.  The middle layer is the dermis, which contains the hair follicles, more nerves, smaller blood vessels, and sweat glands.  The top layer, the epidermis, is the layer which protects the underlying layers from harm, and helps to regulate water evaporating from the body.  There are four layers in the epidermis, the topmost of which is the stratum corneum.  This is the layer which is visible, and which contains keratin, a protein which is present in fingernails and hair.
The epidermis is capable of absorbing large quantities of water, but usually doesn’t because the skin is covered with an oily substance called sebum.  It is this substance which leaves an imprint behind when you touch something, and creates fingerprints on surfaces.  After prolonged periods of time in the water, much of the sebum is washed away, which makes the skin more prone to absorbing water.  This is why skin doesn’t start to wrinkle right away when it’s submerged in water, but takes some time to do so.  It is also thought that sebum is produced in areas where there is a concentration of hair, and the fingertips, palms of the hands and feet typically lack any hair, so there is less sebum there to prevent the skin from absorbing water.
It is thought that the toughness of the outer layer of skin is due to the keratin present therein, and that it is the keratin which prevents the skin from swelling uniformly when it is submerged.  As a result, the increased surface area of the skin causes it to wrinkle.  The reason why the wrinkling affects the hands and feet, but not other areas of the body, is that the fingertips and bottoms of our feet have the thickest skin, and the highest concentration of keratin.  Another theory is that because the epidermis is connected to the dermis in some spots, but not everywhere, the spots that are not connected tend to swell more; as a result, some areas of the skin swell more than others, producing the wrinkle effect.
Some scientists have also linked the effect of water-related wrinkling to a process called vasoconstriction.  This theory posits that the nervous system plays a role in the wrinkling process.  In 1935, two doctors named Lewis and Pickering studied patients with palsy of the median nerve, and noticed that water-related wrinkling did not occur in areas of the patients’ skin which were normally innervated by the damaged nerve; as a result, they drew the conclusion that the phenomenon of water aging could not be explained by simple water absorption alone, but that the sympathetic nervous system played a part in the process as well. This theory, however, has not been completely proven.  Regardless of the reason for the wrinkling or pruning process, the skin returns to normal after some time out of the water, and it appears that there are no adverse effects, aside from cosmetic concerns.
